What are the key differences between Interior Architecture and Interior Design?

Understanding some of the key differences between the two can help when it comes to determining which service will best suit your project needs. 

Privacy Policy

Personal information received by Shesi Azeez Designs LLC such as a client's home address, credit card information, last four digits of SSN, cannot and will not be shared with outside sources. These pieces of information are only to be used for the benefit of the specific client's design at the discretion of the designer and the client. SA Designs collect clients and others emails for exclusive content or to send specific information to clients. For the purpose of exclusive content emails will not be used for soliciting and can be opted out of at any time.

Designs

All Designs including preliminary are proprietary to Shesi Azeez Designs LLC and are not to be shared with outside retailers or other design professionals as they can easily be stolen and implemented in other spaces. SA Designs works closely with clients and their specific design professionals to comes up with unique and tailored designs specific to clients. We take our jobs extremely seriously and personal as we are passionate about providing beautiful designs to our clients,  and in turn expect this precedent to be respected.

Perks

Working with SA Designs provides you with access to some of the area's best General Contractors, detail oriented Architects, and thoughtful Fabricators. We also have access to some of the world's most unique and bespoke products and tradesmen, as well as partnerships with local businesses and craftsmen. In turn we have access to a large material library to help clients understand and bring their designs to life.

Cost

Preliminary and consult only deigns are charged at an hourly rate depending on the scope of work required and predetermined by the client and agreed upon by the designer. These rates range between $125-250/hr. Large scale home renovations and hospitality projects are charges at a rate per square foot of the project. Terms of Service

Contract

Your contract will include the following:

  • Detailed Specifications / Scope of Work to be executed by designer

  • Drawings (ownership of drawings)

  • General Contractor and Architect information

  • Design Fees / Payment Terms 

  • Purchasing and Procurement

  • Refunds and cancellations (regarding F,F, & E)

  • Reimbursable Costs

  • Insurance

  • Photography of completed work

Contracts can be updated and renegotiated along the way due to design changes and after budget reviews but all work ceases until new contract is signed and agreed upon by both the designer and the client.

Premature Termination of any contracts are subject to a cancellation fee typically 15% of the remaining costs estimated to be owed to the designer. This includes installment payments, hourly, and trade rates. This applies to all circumstances except major injury, illness, or death.

  • Will I have to provide my own General Contractor or Architect? With SA Designs you do not have to provide a general contractor or architect. We connect each of our clients with the necessary people to complete their project

Adding a designer in the beginning of your process can help you avoid costly mistakes we would e able to catch beforehand.

  • How do interior designers work? At SA Designs we take the time and care to get to know each client before proceeding on with you project. We work closely with other design professionals to get clients to their desired result.
